Ux and visual designer

OnlyFans is a content subscription service that allows content creators to earn money from users who subscribe to their content/profile. It allows content creators to receive funding directly from their fans on a monthly basis as well as one-time tips and the pay-per-view feature.

We think there's a lot that can be done to up conversions on subscriptions, paid posts, tips, etc. to help creators monetize more.

In this two part project, I proposed and integrated improvements to increase conversion to subscription rates and increase the ways in which creators can monetize their profile and content. I then reskinned and redesigned the profile page to be more onbrand to a web3 aesthetic so that this creator monetization concept could be applied to the web3 space.

Redesigning the UX to help creators monetize

My proposed improvements to increase conversion to subscription rates and increase the ways in which creators can monetize their profile and content:

  • option to purchase add ons to subscriptions during checkout

  • option to gift a friend a subscription like Twitch

  • tiered subscription bundles that fans can choose from such as patreon or fansly

  • make it more clear what is included in each bundle

  • give the option to pay a small fee (or can be free) for a 24 hour trial subscription

  • incentives for turning on auto-renew

  • referral or discount codes

  • include a section where creators can promote other affiliated accounts and fans can subscribe at a discounted rate

  • a leaderboard to showcase/shoutout the top monthly subscribers (by donation amount)

  • include the option for visitors to purchase to view a post without necessarily having to subscribe (currently, only free accounts can price lock posts)

Reskinning the platform in a Web3 aesthetic

web3 aesthetic that I've observed and tried to incorporate include:

  • glassmorphism

  • gradients

  • bold, expressive and vibrant

  • "dark mode"

  • neo brutalism - anti-design
